Sound and Composition for Indie Film - Notes from a Fish.

An aspiring novelist on the verge of a breakthrough loses his muse, a tropical fish, sending him and an unstable fisheries officer on bizarre misadventures to recover the fish rumoured to hold mysterious, almost magical powers.

Effortlessly employing the Prophet and Casio CZ to sculpt a shimmering track that exists at the intersections of new-age, alt-pop, and IDM, culminating in an evocative feeling that offers the listeners a chance to gaze into familiar feelings of affection, desire, and dancing, encouraging us to stay present through it all.

Music for Perennial Planes is a foray into the world of natural beauty and sensory joy as explored in Kowtow's new collection - Simple Pleasures. Drawing upon organically occurring environmental elements the record  evokes a sense of place. Interweaving analog techniques, field-recordings, and synthesized sounds, this collection of specially crafted tracks serves as an ode to Kowtow's deep regard for environmental care and humanity's inherent desire to be close to the natural world.
